Frank Joseph Cardinale, Sr., of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at the age of 98. Loving husband of Dorothy Cardinale; devoted father of Frank Cardinale, Jr. and Rosemary Cardinale; cherished grandfather of Vicki (Rich) Helfrey, Lisa (Josh) Cardinale-Brown, Tony (Mary) Frazier, and Frank (Leslie) Cardinale, III; treasured great-grandfather of Richie Helfrey, Lauren Helfrey, Olivia Helfrey, James Politte, William Politte, Melanie Voss, Carter Voss, Justin Broyles, Patty (Kris) Barton, and Jamie Berthold,; dear brother of Joe, Larry, and Nina Cardinale. He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
Frank proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II in the Pacific. He worked a dedicated lifelong career as a postman for the US Postal Service. Frank was an avid golfer, loved playing cards, singing, and telling jokes. Frank was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
