Frances Mae Jones

Frances Mae Jones (nee: Pierce), of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at the age of 92.  Loving wife of the late Leo C. Jones; beloved daughter of the late Lewis and India Pierce; devoted mother of Christy (the late William) Moore; dear grandmother of Kamala Moriarity, Nicholas (Rebecca) Moore, Kasey (Jesse) Carmell, and the late Karen Moore; treasured great-grandmother of Haley Moriarity, Logan Moriarity, Kaylor Moore, Kooper Carmell, Jillian Carmell, Baxter Carmell, and Kaleb Moore; and dearest sister of the late Robert (Bernice) Pierce, the late Ralph Pierce, and the late Jack (Wilma Jean) Pierce;  and sister-in-law of Evelyn Pierce.

Frances loved learning and teaching.  She was a kindergarten and third grade teacher for Pattonville School District, and retired after more than 34 years teaching.  She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, and enjoyed watching the games with her husband.  She liked reading and playing Yahtzee.  In her spare time, she enjoyed activities at the senior center.  Most of all, Frances enjoyed spending time her family, especially her grandkids.  She was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
