Eva M. Dieckmann

Eva M. Dieckmann, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017, at the age of 92. Loving wife of 53 years to the late Palmer J. Dieckmann; beloved daughter of the late George and Eva Greschner; devoted mother of Elizabeth (Phillip) Shoemaker, Patricia Hittler, and Linda Dieckmann; cherished grandmother of Kristen Day and Megan (Kyle) Williams; treasured great-grandmother of Cody Day; and cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews. Eva was also preceded in death by her brothers, George (Hilda) Greschner and Bernard (Jean) Greschner.
Eva was a longtime active member of St. John United Church of Christ, being very involved with the Women’s Guild. She was a volunteer at the Red Cross for more than 40 years, and an election judge for many years. She enjoyed sewing and crafts, especially ceramics. She loved bowling and traveling for tournaments, which she was an officer in the league as well. She was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
