Eva Joyce Kerr of O’Fallon, MO, passed away at the age of 85 on Friday, June 12, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Kerr; her son, Barry Kerr; her parents, Earl and Eva Jones; and five sisters and one brother.

a is survived by her two sons, Kelly (Christine) Kerr and Desmond Kerr; her grandchildren, Rebecca (Matthew) Mueller, Natalie (Russell Mince Jr.) Kerr, and Bryan Kerr; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Alex and Ayden Mince.Eva was a woman of very strong faith and a longtime member of Cornerstone Methodist Church where she sang in the church choir for many years. She was a Class of 1952 graduate of Gideon High School in Gideon, MO, and was always very active in planning and participating in class reunions. Quilting was one of Eva’s passions. Over the years she produced many beautiful pieces and enjoyed the friendships she made as a member of the Flint Hill Quilter’s Club. Her outgoing, social, and happy personality would light up the room. She loved to travel, and had a special place in her heart for animals, her granddogs Tucker and Boomer in particular. Eva will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
