Engelbert “Bert” Bernard Schonlau

Engelbert "Bert" Bernard Schonlau of Saint Peters, MO, passed away at the age of 72 on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. He was preceded in death by his dear son, Jimmy Schonlau; and his parents, Engelbert and Mary Ann Schonlau.

Bert is survived by his sons, Chris (Melanie) Schonlau and Kenny Schonlau; his grandchildren, Amanda Blakely, Cody Schonlau, Christopher Schonlau, and Caylee Schonlau; his great-grandchildren, Biancha Blakely, Maryana Blakely, Castiel Blakely, Ronan Blakely, and Juliet Blakely; his sisters, Bernie (Bob) Alexander and Ann Schonlau; and he was an uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Bert proudly served in the US Army. He was very dedicated to his work in commercial refrigeration and ice manufacturing, and his friends and family will always remember him as a hardworking and smart man. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
