Elizabeth “Betty” Phelps

Phelps, Elizabeth “Betty” of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Albert E. Phelps; cherished daughter of the late Marcus and Agatha Honerkamp; devoted mother of Robert Phelps Sr.; loving grandmother of Robert Phelps Jr.; treasured great-grandmother of Austin Robert Phelps; dear sister of Margaret Tuck; and beloved aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Betty is also preceded in death by her sisters Ida Brush, Clara Yadamec, and Rita Honerkamp, her brothers Norbert, Vincent, Charles, and Urban Honerkamp.

Betty was a lifelong member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, St Charles, Missouri.  She belonged to the Telephone Pioneers. She enjoyed her friendships she made during her involvement while in TOPS. Betty was the "original fun Aunt".  She was a devoted and loving Mother and Grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
