Ruhlman, Edward A., of St. Charles, MO, passed away peacefully and entered into the Lord’s kingdom on October 26, 2016. Cherished son of William and Cecelia Ruhlman. Loving husband for 64 years of Betty C. (nee: Steinmetz). Devoted father of William, Robert (Pamela) and the late Susan Ruhlman. Loving grandfather of Alaina, Andrew, and Samantha Ruhlman.

Edward was a longtime college professor who taught business at SIU-Edwardsville, St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley, Lindenwood University and Webster University. Edward was a kind and gentle soul, and had a great sense of humor and wit. He was an avid reader, gardener, bridge player, and loved to travel. He loved his sports, especially baseball. Edward would entertain us with his many tales of being a member the Knot Hole Gang at the old Busch Stadium on Grand Avenue. Edward loved his animals, especially Chipper, Stormy and Tucker.
