Edna R. Daily

Edna R. Daily, of St. Charles, MO, passed away on Saturday October 8, 2016, at the age of 94. Edna was the loving wife of the late Robert E. Daily; beloved daughter of the late Peter and Katherina Raile (nee: Schauer); devoted mom of Patricia Ann (Brian) McKee; cherished grandma of Lindsay Renee (Thomas) Shriver and Ashley Daily Brooks; and dear sister of Edwin (Wanda) Raile and John (Debbie) Raile, and sister-in-law of Carol Thompson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Edna is preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Kay Daily; and her siblings, Lydia Renz, Irene Engleman, and Paul Raile.

Edna grew up on a farm in St. Francis, Kansas. After graduating from high school, she went on to attend Grand Island Business College of Nebraska. She worked as a Secretary for the Ferguson Florissant School District for many years before retiring in 1987. Edna enjoyed taking long walks, sewing, cooking, and watching the St. Louis Cardinals. However, her most treasured moments were the ones she spent with her family. She was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
