Edgar Lee Schafer, Sr.

Edgar Lee Schafer, Sr., of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2019, at the age of 65. Beloved son of the late Edgar Lee and Betty Jane Schafer; devoted father of Joseph Bernard (Deborah) Schafer and Edgar Lee Schafer, Jr.; dear brother of Bruce (Marlen) Schafer, Frank (Addette) Schafer, and Jack Menge; cherished uncle of James (Jessica) Hudson, Kimberly, Elizabeth, Dana and Dixie. He is preceded in death by his three sisters, Caroline Hudson, Margaret Smith, and Bonnie Webb.
Edgar proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
