Edeltrud Marianne Shuffett

Edeltrud Marianne Shuffett (nee Maul), age 85, of St. Peters, Missouri, August 19, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Hartford Wayne Shuffett; loving daughter of the late Peter and Maria Maul; devoted mother of Peter (Mary Theresa) Shuffett and Diane (Michael) Lanning; treasured grandmother of Michael (Dawn) Lanning, Christopher Lanning, Ashley Langhoff, Tyler Shuffett, Kathleen Shuffett,  Madelyn Shuffett, and Delaney Shuffett; dear great-grandmother of Rylee Lanning and Dominic Lanning; and cherished sister of Horst (Lela) Maul and Helen Brunn. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Edeltrud was born on September 24, 1931 in Fulda, Germany and was a proud member of the German Heritage Club of St. Charles. She was a parishioner of All Saints Catholic Church where she sang in the choir and served on many committees. Edeltrud worked at Monsanto for over 20 years before retiring. Traveling and spending time with her wonderful family especially her grandchildren was very important to her. Edeltrud was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
