Dr. Prabha Partap passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the age of 76 from acute leukemia, while surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Dr. Mohinder Partap for 49 years; cherished daughter of the late Ramesh Chand and Kaushlya Garg; devoted mother of Anu (Timothy Miller) Partap, Sonia Partap, and Aneesh Partap; loving naniji of Milani and Aria Miller; dear sister of Surendra (Shanti) Garg, Satyndra (Sashi) Garg, Pushpa (Gian Chand) Gupta, and the late Kusum Gupta. She was the beloved sister in-law, aunt, auntie, and friend of many.
She was born in Delhi, India and immigrated to the USA in 1969. St. Louis became her home in 1971 when she started her pathology residency training at Washington University, a profession she loved. She went on to become the Medical Director of the laboratory and dedicated pathologist at Lincoln County Medical Center in Troy, MO for over 35 years. She loved everything about St. Louis. At home, she was known for her tremendous sense of humor, warmth, class, being the life of the party, and was an extraordinary host. She also loved gardening and watching her flowers bloom.
