Douglas “Doug” Hoops

June 20, 1971 — December 24, 2016

Douglas Hoops, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Saturday, December 24, 2016, at the age of 45. Loving husband of 9 years of Jamie Hoops; beloved son of James “Jim” and Joyce Hoops; devoted father of Douglas James Hoops, Jr., Michael Hoops, and Brittany Everitt; cherished grandfather of Ryan Douglas Grayson-Hoops; dear brother of Rick Hoops; beloved son-in-law of Jim and Daughn Bilger; dear nephew of Douglas James LaGarce. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends, as well as his loving dog and companion, "Roxy". He is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Doug worked for Wiegmann Heating and Cooling for 9 years, and loved his job. He loved working on computers and cars – especially his 1967 Camaro. He enjoyed bowling, softball, golfing, and singing Karaoke. Doug had a wonderful sense of humor, and was generous with his time, always teaching and helping others. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
