So sorry for the loss of your loved one. I didn’t know her very well, but saw her picture and some postings over the years.
Did see her at a few reunions that I actually made. I know you will miss her greatly.

candle 1This precious lady will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Though I never had the privilege of meeting her personally, her daughter, Carole, has been a dear friend of mine for many years and through her I learned to know her Mom. She was a darling and raised her children the same way, brave and strong to the end. Hugs and prayers to all of you from your friend in North Carolina.

Jeff and Carol: It’s been so long since I saw you or your mom (and dad), but I have only wonderful memories of visiting you in Kansas, along with our mutual grandparents (who we called Popo and Grams). It seems like such a short time ago, and I remember in particular your mom being such a sweet lady, although that was so many years ago! I pray that God comfort you and be with you, and lift you up in prayer as you mourn the loss of your mom.

Dear Carole; It was so wonderful that Dorothy could be with you in her last years, and I remember her with fondness. She always loved to have us come to Herndon to visit you, and we had some grand times together. Do you remember when all of you rode the train to North Zulch, TX. to visit us? You were quite young, but you may recall our trip to Austin to tour around, and go to the state capitol and see other sights there. When your dad died, all four of my brothers and I were able to make it to the funeral, even though we lived far away, and I was glad we could all be together. You and Jeffie have my love, and it would be nice if somehow we could all get together again. Much Love, Aunt Gerry

Dear Carole, How glad I am that Dorothy could be with you in her last years. We had some good times together when you lived in Herndon, and I have fond memories of those days. Do you remember when all of you came to Texas on the train, and we met you at North Zulch? We went to Austin, and toured the state capitol, etc., and had a wonderful time. When your dad died, I was so glad that all four of my brothers and I were able to make it to the funeral, as we lived quite far apart, but we got to see you and your mother and Jeffie. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you and Jeffie at this time
    Much Love, Aunt Gerry
