Dorothy M. Brann

Brann, Dorothy M. (nee: Worley) of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Saturday May 6, 2017, at the age of 95.  Loving wife of the late Mack V. Brann, beloved daughter of the late Albert L. and Maggie Mae Worley; devoted mother of Donald L. (Mary Ann) Brann and Diane (Bill) Newcomb; cherished grandmother of six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, with one on-the-way; dear sister of Norma (Bill) Johnson.  Dorothy was preceded in death by her siblings Helen Sherrill, Thelma Price, Theron L. Worley, and Bernice L. Cleve.

Dorothy worked for many years as an accounting clerk for Maritz Inc., and part time as a sales clerk for Famous Barr.  She had a kind and generous spirit, caring to everyone, and her greatest joy was her family for whom she worked very hard to provide for.  She shared her glowing personality with everyone she encountered.  She was very loving and happy, with a smiling nature, and never gave up during the rough moments.  In her spare time, Dorothy loved sewing and baking, and her recipes for Apple Butter, Banana Bread, and Chocolate Chip Cookies are favorites among many.  She will be remembered as a loving grandmother, great-grandmother, and G-Mama, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
