Dorothy L. Short Barklage
April 1, 1918 — June 17, 2020
Dorothy L. Short Barklage of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 102 on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Barklage; her parents, Simon and Rae Short; and her siblings, Donald Short Sr., William Short, and Jeanette Faulkner.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Ina Rae (Charles R.) Brazeale, Robert O. (Barbara) Barklage, Susan (Timothy) Collins, and Bryan (Debroah) Barklage; her grandchildren, Charles (Carol) Brazeale, Mary O'Leary, Stacey (Burke) White, Stuart (Annie) Bloj, Allison Bloj, and Kenneth Barklage; her many great-grandchildren; her two great-great-grandchildren; and she was a loving aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Dorothy was a faithful member of St. Charles Presbyterian Church and greatly enjoyed the spiritual community there. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
