Dorothy K. Stroud (nee: Marnati) of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Harold Stroud; cherished daughter of the late

Joseph and Adele Marnati; devoted mother of Harold (Janet) Stroud, Rosemary (Ralph “Buck”) Hachman, Patricia (Dennis) Ehmke, and Robert Stroud; loving grandmother Darla (Mike) Dowd, Wade (Michelle) Hachman, Danny Ehmke, Todd (Stephanie) Ehmke, Jeff (Nikki) Stroud, Joey Stroud, Jimmy Stroud, and Ryan Stroud; treasured great-grandmother of Michael (Electi) and Josh Dowd, Sydney and Cody Ehmke, Morgan and Garrett Stroud, and Adam and Claire Hachman; cherished great-great-grandmother of Paisley Dowd and the late Michael Sheldon Dowd; and dear sister of Eleanor Monolo. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Angelina Sego, Gloria Mayberry, Norma Cantrell, and Gracie Lutes.

Dorothy enjoyed gardening, going to garage sales, and crocheting. Most of all, she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Dorothy always had a smile on her face for everyone. She was a happy and cheerful spirit who was deeply loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
