Dorothy Florian

Florian, Dorothy (nee Palfy) of St. Peters, MO, on Friday, August 4, 2017, at the age of 81. Beloved wife of 59 years to Daniel F. Florian; cherished daughter of the late James Joseph and Marie Palfy; devoted mother of Daniel J. (Kathleen) Florian, Kathleen M. Chaney, Michael J. (Becky) Florian, James E. Florian, Thomas W. (Michelle) Florian, and the late Robert J. Florian; loving grandmother of Joy (Michael), Jill (David), Beth, Joseph, Clayton, and Kaylie; treasured great-grandmother of Noel, Emily, Joshua, Gabrielle, Grace, Christian, Brady, Luca, Claira, and Jeremiah; and great-great-grandmother of Evelyn; and dear sister of Margaret (The late Richard) Thonnings, James J. (Denise) Palfy, Evelyn (Carl) Acker, and Robert Palfy.

Dorothy was a parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmire Catholic Church and was a devout Catholic that prayed the Rosary.  She enjoyed word searches, puzzles, crocheting, and creating many other crafts. She loved to cook and cheer on the Cleveland Cavaliers Basketball team, especially LeBron James. People were very important to Dorothy if she was not spending time with her precious family, she was volunteering for St. Vincent De Paul Society or Sts. Joachim and Ann Care Center. She will be remembered greatly as a creative, generous, caring, loving, and kind soul and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
