candle 1Rest in Peace Aunt Dorrie. You were always my second Mom, I loved you dearly. I was lucky enough to have so many precious memories with the two of us as far back as I can remember. All our sleep overs at your house, going to the mall and making sure we were home in time to watch “Let’s Make a Deal” lol You taught me so much and one thing was to always try and see the good in everyone as well as try to always keep a smile on my face. When “Jerbear” was born you were always there to lend a helping hand and even a shoulder to cry on if needed. You were always there for my Mom and you two were like sisters. I could never thank enough! Spread those wings and fly sweet lady. My heart will be forever broken without you.

I knew Doreen when I worked at Oak Tree Village several years ago. She was always quick to share a story and a smile, and one of the residents I really bonded with when I was there. We shared jokes and opinions, and I adored her. She made calling Bingo fun, and I loved our talks during exercise classes. The world lost a joyous soul, but heaven gained one. I pray for comfort for her family and friends. She was a grand lady.
