Donald "Don" N. Sugar of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 86 on Saturday, September 14, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Krist and Emily Sugar; his brothers, Fred Sugar, Rudy Sugar, John Sugar, and his twin brother Robert Sugar.
Don is survived by his beloved wife, Charlotte Sugar; his children, Paul (Gay) Sugar and Kathryn (Jeff) Dauble; his grandchildren, Jessica (Neil) Flannigan, Kristopher (Shulyca) Dauble, and Kyle (Amanda) Dauble; his great-grandchildren, Branden and Reed Flannigan, and Keaton and Charlie Dauble; and he was a beloved uncle and friend to many.
Don proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a Member of Chapel of the Cross and treasured the memories he made as a member of the Couples Club at Chapel of the Cross. Don was a carpenter who belonged to Carpenter’s Union #47. The outdoors held a special place in Don’s heart and he always looked forward to the time he could spend either hunting or fishing. Don was a true people person who never met a stranger and his great personality left a lasting, positive impression on everyone he met.
