Dennis R. Schierding

Dennis R. Schierding, of St. Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at the age of 73.  Loving husband of 48 years to Sharon Schierding, beloved son of the late Ralph and  Elza Schierding; devoted father of Dawn (Hank Manson) Putnam, Dennis "Denny" R. (Angie) Schierding Jr., and Denice (Dennis) Walski; cherished grandfather of Dray Putnam, Cody (Desirae) Schierding, Kierstyn Schierding, Crystal (Chris) Ford, and Jessica Thompson; treasured great-grandfather of Bryce, Cameron, Kelley, and Jaxson; and dear brother of Debbie (Wayne) Humphreys, the late Diane Skelton, and the late David Walkenhorst.

Dennis proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  He retired after more than 43 years from the City of St. Charles as a Water Plant Operator. He truly enjoyed fishing and hunting.  He loved spending time with his family.  In his spare time, he liked watching National Geographic, Animal Planet, and Pickers.  Dennis never knew a stranger and everyone could call him a friend.  He was greatly loved, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
