Denis W. “Denny” Hayes
June 1, 1934 — April 29, 2017
Denis W. “Denny” Hayes, of St. Charles, MO, April 29, 2017, at the age of 82. Loving husband of Bessie Lee Hayes; beloved son of the late Oscar V. and Alma O. Hayes; devoted father of Jeffery (Kim) Hayes, Ann Marie Evans, and Thomas (Sara) Hayes; step-father of Teresa (Charlie) DeGuire, Michael (Mary) Hood, and Jo-Anna (John) Moscati; cherished grandfather of 13; treasure great-grandfather of three; dear brother of Dorothy Browning and Kenneth Hayes; nieces, nephew, and other relatives. He was also preceded in death by his two brothers, William Hayes and Robert Hayes.
Denny retired for McDonnell Douglas and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He loved sports and was a big St. Louis Cardinals fan. Denny loved nothing more in this world than his family, grandkids, and children. Denny was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
