candle 5I remember living across the street from Denis and Bette until I was in second grade. After I got married, we moved back to South Boxwood and was pleasantly surprised to see they still lived on South Boxwood. Unfortunately, they moved a short time after we moved in. They always took great pride in their house and yard. They were great neighbors.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May God wrap His loving arms around you all and carry you through the days, weeks, months and year to come.

    All our love,

    The Hobdays,

    Tommy and Tammy (Dames)

Our deepest sympathy to Bette and family in the passing of a wonderful friend. Denny was a great friend of mine when we were young men in New Haven. We spent many hours together, especially when he worked at his brother Charlie’s Sinclair Service Station. He was also a groomsmen in our wedding. Although our lives did not cross paths very often in the following years, I will always remember his infectious laugh and outlook on life. May God comfort you in your sorrow in the loss of a truly nice guy.
