Debra Jane “Debbie” Rosenkoetter
July 7, 1958 — November 11, 2016
Debra (“Debbie”) Jane Rosenkoetter, warm and loving wife of Gary for 16 years, passed away at the age of 58, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Debbie was a nurturing and caring mom to her son, Randy and daughter in law Meghan Napoli, and a deeply committed and involved grandmother to her granddaughters, Reagan and Ryann, who she loved to spend time with at the lake. Debbie was also the kind of thoughtful daughter who was cherished every day by her sister and brother, Marsha Peterson and Mike Gilbert, and loving parents, O.T. and Betty Gilbert who survive.
As a professional photographer for many years, Debbie was able to pursue her passion for capturing in bright and perfectly framed pictures the faces of countless children and families. Debbie was a memory maker of the highest order. She also made the best potato salad this side of the Mississippi.
Debbie will also be missed by her many friends and extended family who came to know her caring, optimistic, and loving spirit, including her stepdaughters, Lori Porzenski (Joe) and Leslie Krieger (Brian), step grandchildren Gabi, Matti, Joey, Lucy, Montana, Jacob, and Cole.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society or flowers as Debbie had a strong passion for plants and flowers.
