Ash, David, of Saint Peters, MO, died on Saturday, December 24, 2016, at the age of 69. Loving husband of Carrie Ash; beloved son of the late Elmer Lee, Sr. and Lovie May Latham; devoted father of Kelly Ash (Josh Freeman), Kevin David Ash; cherished grandfather of Ashlynn Lovie Freeman; also survived by his Bonus wife, Pam Ash; father-in-law Jim Clay; brother-in-law Wayne (Sherie) Clay and sister-in-law Sherry Ash. Uncle of Christen (Matt) Bell, Dylan Clay, Keith (Grace) Bryant, Paul Bryant, and Tanya Hanna. Preceded in death by infant daughter, Mary Ash, sister, Freida Evelyn Libhart, brother, Elmer Lee "Jr" Ash, Jr., and nephew, Alan Ash.
Dave proudly served in the United States Navy. He was a very proud Seebee, serving two tours in Vietnam. Member of Masons, Elks, Moose, VFW, and American Legion.
Dave was bigger than life “Livin’ the Dream.” Retired from Cedar Hill Resort on the Mississippi. Dave was an avid boater and lover of animals and nature. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to be made to World Bird Sanctuary at 125 Bald Eagle Ridge Rd., Valley Park, MO 63088, David's bird is number 080216, or to Stray Rescue.
