Coralie M. Simmons of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away at the age of 97 on Thursday, October 31, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren John Simmons, Jr.; her parents James and Ethel Rule; and her brothers, Burnie and Lindsay Rule.
Coralie is survived by her daughter, Janet (William) Seamon; her grandchildren, Amanda (Erik) Vincent and Christopher (Patty) Sandt; and her great-grandchildren, Shelby Vincent, Wesley Vincent, Johnathan Sandt, and Rain Sandt.
Coralie attended Trinity Episcopal Church. She had been a member of the Moose and Eastern Star.
She worked as a secretary in the family insurance and real estate businesses. She continued to work in that capacity under the new owners after the business was sold until she retired.
She enjoyed Big Band-era music, watching game shows on television, dancing, going out to eat, playing cards, cribbage, bingo, fishing, and was a diehard baseball Cardinals fan. When the games were not televised, she would turn on a small transistor radio and listen to the games.
She cherished her many friendships and enjoyed get-togethers and socials with them. Her friends will remember her for her sweet personality and always with a smile.
Coralie’s greatest love was her family and was always ready to brag to everyone that she was a grandmother and great-grandmother.
