Clair K. Stine

Clair K. Stine of High Hill, MO, passed Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Maxine Hess Stine; cherished son of the late Ralph W. and Hazel I. Stine; devoted father of Terry E. (Carol) Stine, Thomas R. (Nina) Stine, and Yvonne (Jim) Garrett; loving grandfather of Julie Rangel, Dana (Seth) Thomas, David (Nicole) Stine, Carrie (Steve) Naglak, Heather (Matt) Thomson, Eric Stine, James Garrett; and great-grandfather of ten and one on the way. Clair was also preceded in death by his brother Paul C. Stine.

Clair proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Corps. He worked for many years with ACF Industries as a Maintenance Foreman before retiring. He was a member of the Lions Club of High Hill, the VFW of Montgomery City, and dedicated many hours as an Explorer Advisor for Boy Scouts of America. He served as an elder in the St. Peters, O’Fallon, and Price’s Branch Christian Churches. He also served on the board of High Hill Christian Camp. Clair was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
