Christopher Newns

Christopher Michael Newns of Saint Charles, MO, passed away suddenly at the age of 44 on Monday, October 12, 2020. Beloved son of Rose Newns and the late James Newns, Sr.; loving dad of Elliott Newns, Andrea Newns, and Alexandra Newns; dear brother of JoEllen Wollner, James (Sherri) Newns Jr., Elizabeth (Casey) Hoerchler, and the late Jina Winter. Preceded in death by his nephew, Zach Palesch and niece, Angela Broadway. Also survived by loving nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Chris proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Navy. Always a people person, Chris loved his job at Ameristar where he had the opportunity to meet and interact with new people on a daily basis. In his free time, Chris loved playing disc golf, and cooking for his family and friends. He was also an avid sports fan, who enjoyed watching hockey, baseball, and  football. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial contributions may be made in Chris's honor to the American Heart Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
