Cheryl A. MacFarland

MacFarland, Cheryl A. (nee Sampson) of Augusta, MO, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at the age of 74. Loving wife of Harold “Mac” Edward MacFarland; beloved daughter of the late Beatrice Sampson; devoted mother of Rhonda Hull, Heidi Bobeen, and Heather Vandiver; cherished grandmother of Nichole Etchason, Jeanette Vandiver Sebastian Smith, Benjamin (Tonya) Cox, Elijah (Shawna) Cox, and Meghan Cox; treasured great-grandmother of Nataliegh Smith, Sage Joslyn, Merrill Cox, Logan Cox, Eliana Cox, Julianna Olmstead, Malcom Handy, and Lillie Handy; dear sister of Susan Roberts, Laurie Sampson, and David Sampson.

Cheryl and Mac enjoyed traveling the world together over the last 12 years visiting 18 countries.  After retirement Cheryl devoted a lot of her time to Loving Hearts Outreach. She was a very giving person who would always give to people in need. Cheryl was an avid reader and spent time with her book club friends, and also enjoyed playing Bunko with her Bunko club friends.   In her spare time, she also enjoyed bird watching and her bird feeders at home. Most of all Cheryl loved her family and spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. Cheryl was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
