Catherine M. Meyer

Catherine M. Meyer (nee Gallatin) of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 92 on Friday, December 28, 2018. Catherine was the beloved wife of the late Clifford W. Meyer.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Pues, Janet (Bernard) Leonhard, and Nancy (Greg) Lanwermeyer; her grandchildren, Daniel Pues, Kimberly (Landon) Schierholz, Amber Lanwermeyer, Krystal Pues, Bradley Leonhard, Kelcie Pues, Heather Lanwermeyer, and Brittany (Scott Andrews) Pues; her great-grandchild, Lincoln Andrews; and her brother, Raymond (Pat) Gallatin.  Our dear aunt, great-aunt and friend to many.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Frances Gallatin; and her siblings, Leland, Evelyn, Earl, Donald, and Gallatin.

Catherine was a longtime Parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She worked for JC Penney for many years, St. Charles School District in the cafeteria as a cook, then Lindenwood College as a cook, Emerson Electric, and she began her career at the Shoe Factory in St. Charles. Catherine was a woman of many hobbies – she enjoyed quilting, fishing, playing bingo and the penny slots at Ameristar. Catherine was a fan of Gospel music and played it all day.  Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family that she loved so much and, especially, her grandchildren and great-grandson. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
