Carol Schneider (nee Posz) of O'Fallon, MO passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017, at the age of 73. Daughter of the late Everett and Evelyn Posz; beloved wife of Thomas Schneider; mother of Garrick (Stacy) Schneider; sister Jackie Hansen of Bayfield, Wisconsin; sister-in-law Patty Sweeney and loving grandmother of Jessica, Zack and Dylan.
Carol has been an active member of the O'Fallon Chamber of Commerce and voted Person of the Year in 1987. She was a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute and her work has been displayed in numerous galleries. She was an accomplished artist excelling in a variety of artistic media including the performing arts. Carol was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
There will be a celebration of her life Tuesday, July 18th from 5 – 9 p.m. at Stone House of St. Charles located at 4401 McClay Rd. St. Charles, MO 63304.
