Bud Hoft

Bud Hoft, of O’Fallon, MO, died on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at the age of 71. He was the loving husband of over 30 years to Deborah J. Hoft; beloved son of the late Norman and Dorothy Hoft; dear brother of Lynn Hoft of Minneapolis, MN, Sue Goecke of Mankato, MN, Tim (Maria) Hoft of St. Louis, MO, Becky (Gary) Poen of Nodaway, IA, Chris (Lisa) Hoft of Littleton, CO, Joe (Catherine) Hoft of Hong Kong, China, Jim Hoft of St. Louis, MO, and Mike (Virginia) Hoft of Arlington, TX; and brother-in-law of Brian (Ellen) Buchholtz of Prescott, AZ and Keri Nelson of Quakertown, PA, and the late Linda Oursland. Bud is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Bud was an active member of Morning Star Church where he was a greeter; worked on maintaining the church grounds; performed set-ups and tear-downs in the church auditorium; assisted in putting together bulletins every Thursday; and participated in the Men’s Club. He was also a very avid golfer. Bud was a caring and loving man who was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
