Bobby Dean Fann

March 4, 1949 — June 20, 2021

Bobby Dean Fann, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021, at the age of 72.  Loving husband of 52 years to Bonnie J. Fann; beloved son of the late Loyd and Susie Fann; devoted father of Matthew Fann, Felicia (Donny) Spain, Nicholas (Jamie) Fann, the late Bobby Fann, and nephew, Tony Waters; cherished grandfather of Sabrina Fann, Joey Spain, Alex Spain, Madison Spain, Lucas Spain, and Dalton Fann; treasured great-grandfather of Euryah Spain; dear brother of Lois (the late Theodore "Buzzy") Kelly, Stanley (Debbie) Fann, Janie (Terry) Ervin-Burdin, Linda (John) Becker, and Tracey Keller-Kinnear; and dearest nephew of Margie (the late Bob) Layman.

Bobby is also survived by his aunt, Dorothy (the late Charlie) Thompson, who took over as his mom when Susie passed away; his brothers-in-law, Donald and Jeff who were his true best friends.  Bobby was also preceded in death by his siblings, Lilly, Bonnie, Harold, Margaret, and Betty; and his grandmother, Frankie Fann.

Bobby worked for General Motors as an assembly line worker, and he retired after more than 32 years of employment.  Upon retirement he was able to do all of the things he loved, especially spending time with his family.

Bobby was a member of Have Bible Will Travel, where he was a greeter, and volunteered with the homeless ministry.  He always had his Bible with him so he could soak up the Word when able.

As the loveable family man he was, Bobby loved to take the grandkids on trips to get ice cream.  He liked to travel and go on vacations with his family to The Lake of the Ozarks, Branson, Hannibal, and many other places.

Bobby loved to play pinball in his younger years, and he was the King of the Board! He liked to go bowling, and he was also a great shot at Skeeball.  He loved his chocolate, popcorn, and the occasional Pepsi.

As a real outdoorsman, Bobby loved hanging out in his back yard, as he called it "his piece of heaven here on earth."  He could often be found in his man cave hanging out, listening to music, and working out on his gym.  He also enjoyed going for long walks.

Bobby was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  Memorial contributions may be made in Bobby's name to Have Bible Will Travel Ministries or the American Cancer Society.
