Bob G. Rowe

Rowe, Bob G., of St. Charles, MO, died on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at the age of 88. He was the loving husband of Marlene Rowe (nee: Meyers) for over 63 years; beloved son of the late Wesley and Rhoda Rowe; devoted father of Karen (Mike) Wald and Liz (Joe) Eimer; cherished grandfather of Maria Wald, Jordan Eimer, and Lauren Eimer; and dear brother of Vera Winsky. Bob is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Victor Rowe and Wayne Rowe.

Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. After, the war, he went on to work for McDonnell Douglas/Boeing for over 32 years, retiring in 1985. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, reading, and traveling with his wife, Marlene, to Ft. Myers, Florida for the winter. Bob will be remembered as a quiet, yet witty, man who was very active in his granddaughters’ lives, and, overall, enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
