Bill Raymer

Raymer, Bill, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, October 9, 2016, at the age of 76. Bill was the loving husband of 56 years to Patsy Raymer (nee: Frazier); beloved son of the late Luther Raymer and Dorothy Honell; devoted dad of Janet Slinger, Jeannie Raymer, and Kristie McCarthy; cherished grandpa of Amanda Slinger, Niki Loddeke, John Loddeke, Kurt Slinger, and Dylan Schalk; treasured great-grandpa of Camren, Hanna, Kaelyn, Brayden, Maci, Hunter, and Billi; and dear father-in-law of Butch Loddeke. Bill is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is also preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Loddeke; his sister, Francis Raymer; and his sons-in-law, Bob Slinger and Duke Schalk.

Bill was a hard-working and fun-loving man. He was a loyal employee to Ford Motor Company for over 30 years before retiring in 1997. In his spare time, Bill loved to go fishing, hunting, boating, skiing, camping, and just enjoying the great outdoors. He also enjoyed travelling the country with his wife Patsy and going to the casino. Bill will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and for his love for his family. He will truly be missed.
