In Loving Memory of Ms. Betty F. Hinds (nee Fuchs)
Betty stepped into God’s presence on June 12, 2018. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on November 12, 1924 to Charles and Verna Fuchs. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob Hinds, her parents, and 2 of her siblings (Charles Fuchs and Maurice Fuchs). She is survived by a brother, Stan Fuchs and 2 sisters, Barb Eaker and Verna Jean Dulaney, 3 sons, Robert (Sheila) Hinds, Perry (Susan) Hinds, Kim (Mary Jane) Hinds, 6 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Betty loved her family with a passion. She was an ardent fan of the Cardinal baseball team. She enjoyed bowling on a ladies’ bowling league until her 90thbirthday…and she was very good at it. She loved fishing and traveling to see her family…wherever they were. But most importantly to her, she raised her 3 sons to be amazing men.
During World War II, and just after getting married, she sent her husband off to war and went to work in a wartime factory. After he returned, they spent their early married years in St. Louis eventually following his aviation career to Decatur, Alabama. Years later moving back to Creve Coeur, Missouri where she spent the remainder of her life.
