Betty Claire Doss, 68, of Wentzville, MO, formerly of Crossett, died Friday, February 3, 2017. She was born June 16, 1948 in Crossett, AR, to Bruce and Frances Williford. Betty Claire was preceded in death by her parents; twin sister, Mary Lynne Williford and her brother, Bruce Whitten Williford. She was the widow of Kenneth L. Harrison of Crossett.
Betty Claire was a graduate of Crossett High School and attended Texas Womens University, The University Of Mississippi and The University of Arkansas at Monticello. She was a longtime typist for the Ashely News Observer and more recently a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald G. Doss of Wentzville, MO; one daughter, Pandora Stafford (Brad) of Wentzville, MO and one son; Chris Harrison (Natalie) of Wentzville, MO; six grandchildren, Claudia and Daniel Stafford; Conner, Alicia, Madelyn and Noah Harrison; one brother, Gary (Joyce) McClain of Weldon Spring, MO; one sister-in-law, Nancy Williford of West Monroe, LA; three nephews, Mark Williford, Kevin McClain and Craig McClain; one niece, Cherri Allenbach.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday February 11, 2017 at Hamburg Cemetery under the direction of Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR. (http://www.jones-hartshorn.com)
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
