Betty June Bylo (nee Dorsey) of Saint Peters, MO, passed away at the age of 86 on Sunday December 23, 2018. She as born to Luster and Verna (nee Brant) Dorsey on June 11, 1932 in Wellston, MO.
She was a 1950 graduate of Wellston High School where she played varsity sports for four years. Ms. Bylo was employed by Southwestern Bell in St. Louis as a telephone operator for five years. She retired from her home daycare business in 2002 after twenty-three years. A fifty year plus parishioner of All Saints Catholic Church in St. Peters, she was also a five-gallon blood donor.
She is survived by two daughters; Kathleen Smith of St. Peters and Karen Harting, of St. Charles; three sons, John of Silex, Tom and Mark of Wentzville. Ms. Bylo is also survived by twelve grandchildren, four great-granddaughters and sister, Linda Dawson of Broken Arrow, OK.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Luceal Heitz and Ruby Cline; also, her former husband Andrew Bylo Jr.
Ms. Bylo donated her body to the St. Louis University School of Medicine. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at All Saints Church in St. Peters at a later date
