Larkin, Bernie, of Saint Peters, MO, died on Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of 29 years to Christine “Chris” Larkin; cherished son of the late Delmar and Geneva Larkin; devoted father of Jason (Karen) Larkin, Michael Larkin, and Sydné Larkin; loving grandfather of Connor Cordell Larkin, Jackson Charles Larkin, and Kennedy Rose Larkin; dear brother of Donald (Sue) Larkin, Robert (Kay) Larkin, and Dean Larkin. Bernie is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Bernie proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Cold War. He then went on to work as a truck driver for 45 years. He was a history buff, loved airplanes, and playing instruments such as the guitar, piano, and fiddle. Bernie enjoyed listening to Jerry Lee Lewis and Bob Dylan. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Bernie was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
