Ardin E. Trippe

Ardin E. Trippe of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 86 on Tuesday, September 29, 2020. He is survived by his children, Cheryl (Terry) Martchink, Karla (Eric) Bodine, and Lyle (Penny) Trippe; his grandchildren, Teresa, Tyler, Ryan, Matthew, Rachel, Nicholas, and Regan; and his many relatives and friends.

Ardin was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Florentine Trippe; and his parents, Fred and Cora Trippe.

Ardin was a veteran of the United States Armed Forces and affiliated with the American Legion Post in St. Charles. As an electrical engineer for McDonnell Douglas, Ardin lent his expertise as part of their significant Gemini and Tomahawk projects. He was a passionate fan of Cardinals Baseball and loved watching them play. Watching the horses race at Fairmount Park was one of his favorite pastimes and he often took his children there to bond and share in the excitement. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
