Alpha M. Lix

Alpha M. Lix (nee Long), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the age of 103. Beloved wife of the late Roy R. Lix; cherished daughter of the late Albert and Gertrude Long; devoted mother of Rayford L. (the late Joan) Lix, Donna Rae Stinecipher, and Gary L. (Marti) Lix; loving grandmother of Margie Heath, Tina Duran, Gwen Romedy, Scott (Sam) Lix, Kim (Mark) Schuetz, and Mandy (Matt) Cooper; treasured great-grandmother of Christain, Brooklynne, Kaleb, Makayla, Madeline, Kaiden, and Angel; dear sister of the late Howard Long, Lindell Long, Donald Long, and Gladis Ringer. Alpha is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Alpha was a lifetime member of the Bonne Terre Baptist Church. She loved being outside, keeping her plant and gardens. Alpha was also very crafty with wood and plaster and she would travel to craft shows with her son and husband. Alpha enjoyed cooking and having the family in for the holidays. Alpha was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
