Alexander Bodrow
November 10, 1924 — June 22, 2018
Alexander Bodrow, of Troy, MO, passed away Friday, June 22, 2018, at the age of 93. Loving husband of the late Emma Bodrow; beloved son of the late Ghorghe and Tachiana Bodrow; devoted father of Helga (Robert) Guerra, Roswitha “Vicki” Bodrow, Susan (George) Bergmann, Alexandria “Sandy” (Gary) Dunn, Eugene Paul Bodrow, and Jeffery “Jeff” Bodrow; cherished grandfather of Kevin Guerra, Brian Guerra, Tim (Jodi) Bergmann, Nick (JoAnn) Bergmann, Steven (Melissa) Dunn, Stefanie (Jerome) Cowen, Emily Bodrow and Michael Bodrow; treasured great-grandfather of thirteen; and great-great grandfather of one. Alexander was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Bodrow.
Alexander was a member of Iron Workers Local 396. He owned his own restaurant, Alexanders Restaurant. Alexander also enjoyed soccer and bowling. Alex was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorial contributions may be made in Alexander’s honor to the American Cancer Society or Five Acers Animal Shelter.
