Teddy by the numbers:
10 months old, 32 pounds, 23″ long
Teddy came to work everyday in July to continue bring a smile to the faces of everyone he meets! July was been a hot month, and Teddy enjoyed spending his days inside, relaxing in the cool air condition after playtime outdoors. He attended various grief meetings and occasionally met with families when requested upon at the Center for Hope & Healing. Teddy even had a chance to meet with students studying to become Veterinary Technicians. During their tour of Baue Pet Services, Teddy couldn’t help cuddling with each of them. He has been doing wonderful with families, and loves to be close to those who need an extra hug.
Since Teddy did such a great job at work in July, Kelly rewarded him with a vacation of his own! He visited his trainer in Foristell and had a blast! While vacationing, Teddy played with several other dogs, goats, and ran off his energy in a large yard!
He continues to make us smile. This month, he began hiding sticks and pieces of wood in his backyard at home – we think he is holding onto them for a special project! When it comes to his obedience training, Teddy has been doing very well, and learns more each and every day. His skills are progressing, and we look forward to him passing his Canine Good Citizenship class this fall.
Stay tuned for more updates on Teddy, his training, and how he is making an impact on everyone he meets.
Teddy will be in attendance at our Annual Paws to Remember Program on Sunday, September 25. For more information, click here.
