We will depart the Lewis & Clark Boat House Museum, arrive at the Tree House Wild Life Sanctuary and enjoy a guided tour of this non-profit center dedicated to the rehabilitation of sick, injured and orphaned wildlife and the education of environmental awareness. Since 1979 professionals and volunteers have been striving to care for every type of wildlife until they can go back into the wild. We will see these animals up close and personal. The guides know many of the calls of these different animals. It is really quite interesting as well as entertaining to see these creatures!

After this, we will cross the river on the Brussels Ferry going into the charming town of Brussels, where we will step back in time at the Wittmond Hotel. Here, we will dine family style all home cooked foods. Our menu: Relish Tray, Sausage, Fried Chicken, Roast Beef, Dumplings, Mashed Potatoes, with Gravy, Corn, Green Beans, Slaw, Rolls, Beverage and Choice of Cobbler.

Last but not least a visit to the National Great Rivers Museum has been scheduled! You will have the opportunity to enjoy the many exhibits on the rivers, how they ow and the lock and dam system. First, we will watch a brief video on Eagles and how important the National Conservation has been to our National Bird taking it off the endangered species list.
