Mid-American Coaches will arrive for loading at 8:00 a.m. with an 8:30 a.m. departure.

Our first stop is Pere Marquette Visitor Center in Grafton, Illinois. Here we will meet our naturalist and enjoy a few of the displays in the museum.

Then we are off to see our fine feathered friends! We will drive to the most common nesting and feeding spots. Our guide will know where the nests are, and he will bring a telescope for up close and personal viewing.

Next, lunch has been arranged at the Pere Marquette Lodge Restaurant. Here we will feast on their famous house specialy, Fried Chicken, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy, Slaw, Vegetable, Rolls, Beverage and Pie for Dessert.

Last, but not least, we will go back to the Visitor Center where we will learn of some of the indigenous animals, birds and water fowl in the area. We will also watch a video on the migration habits of the Eagles.

Dress in layers for the weather and feel free to bring your own binoculars.

We should return no later than 4:45 p.m.
