83 Years of Service

For 83 years, we have been a family owned and operated funeral home in St. Charles County. Founded by Arthur C. Baue and his partner Clarence Hackmann on March 31, 1935, the company was originally called Hackmann-Baue. Since that time, our funeral home has been handed down through four generations of the Baue family, and the legacy continues today as Lisa Baue and her son, John Baue Devaney serve as president/CEO and vice president, with Lisa’s brother, Paul Baue acting as funeral director and location manager.

Because families need care, we plan to continue providing services, and adding more options as the conversations we have with families lead to the recognition of more needs. This is because Baue is committed to providing the highest standards of quality and care for every family we serve before, during and after the death.
