58th Annual Veterans Memorial Program
Over 400 members of the community joined Baue Funeral Homes, Crematory, and Cemetery and paid tribute to veterans who have died in the past year and participated in a poppy ceremony at St. Charles Memorial Gardens on Sunday, May 26th.
The day began with a family picnic from 12 pm – 1:30 pm where veterans shared their stories, the Military Vehicle Preservation Association displayed military vehicles, guests listened to live music while children got their faces painted and met with the balloon artist, and visited our Field of Honor where thousands of American flags were flown in honor of our service men and women.
Teddy had the chance to do what he does best: comfort those who need support.
This marks the 58th year the Veterans Memorial Service included a reading of the names and poppy ceremony.
