To the community we serve,

On Saturday, March 1, the Center for Hope & Healing is hosting their 1st Children’s Grief Camp.  This complimentary program is designed to help children express their grief through artistic expression.

This is a great opportunity for children to have fun while remembering their loved one in their own special way. Our hope is that they will learn that grieving and memories, although painful at times, are a natural part of the process of grief.

Children are often forgotten mourners.  The Counselors from the Center for Hope & Healing understand this, and will provide your child with enrichment activities to facilitate their grief process and to honor the life of their loved one.

The Children’s Grief Camp program is separated into two sessions; 10:30am – 12:00pm kindergarten to 4th grade, and 1:00pm – 2:30pm 5th grade to 8th grade.  Each session is limited to 15 children.

When making reservations, or requesting more information please contact Kelly Karavousanos, LPC, CT at 636-328-0878 or email kellyk@baue.com

Please feel free to extend this information onto friends or family members you think will benefit from our program.
