Tsutomu “Tom” Kamada
January 20, 1927 — June 22, 2016
Dr. Tsutomu “Tom” Kamada, of St. Charles, MO, died on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at the age of 89. Loving husband of Nobuko Mary Kamada; beloved son of the late Kaname and Suge Kamata; devoted father of Mika (Joe) Cole, Yumi (Wayne) Haraguchi, Satoshi (Kristi) Kamada, and Akemi (Dave) Ensor; cherished grandfather of David Cole, Cynthia Cole, Hana Cole, Brett Haraguchi, Kirby Haraguchi, Rachel Kamada, Ryan Kamada, Bryan Ensor, Kathy Ensor, and Julie Ensor.
Dr. Kamada owned his medical practice in O’fallon, MO, and was on staff at St. Joseph Hospital for more than 30 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening. He and his wife loved to travel and go on cruises once he retired. He was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew him.
Memorials to Trinity Episcopal Church, Alzheimer’s Association, American Heart Association, or Japanese-American Museum in Los Angeles.
