Peggy Rose Schallert

Schallert, Peggy Rose (nee: See), who was a resident of New Florence Nursing & Care Center for the last 8 years, died on Sunday, June 19, 2016, at the age of 95. Before moving into New Florence Nursing & Care Center, Peggy lived with her daughter, Patty, and was cared for by Patty for a long time. Peggy was the loving wife of her first husband and father of her children, the late James Hagedorn, and her second husband, the late Walter Schallert; beloved daughter of the late Guy and Mattie See; devoted mother of Patricia (George) Van Thull and James "Clinton" (Sharon) Hagedorn; cherished grandmother of Mike (Kelly) Tessereau, Steve Tessereau, Brett Hagedorn, Cala (Don) Withers, and Eric (Tavena) Hagedorn; treasured great-grandmother of 7; and dear sister of Jean (Harold) Nickerson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her siblings, James See, Melvin "Bud" See; Janet Ayers, Mary See, Sue Humphries, and Betty Ann McCoy.

Peggy will truly be missed by her daughter, Patty. They have traveled a long road together. For the last 37 years, Patty's husband, George, has been like a Son to her and helped Patty to take care of her. They love her very much and she will always be in their hearts.
