Lucy Anne McCluer was born on December 6, 1925 and died on June 18, 2016 in Elsberry, MO. She graduated from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO in 1949, she then went on to receive her Masters Degree from Indiana University, specializing in pipe organ. She became a music instructor and then registrar at Erskine College in Due West, South Carolina. She had a positon as organist at a church in Greenwood, South Carolina and belonged to a Presbyterian Church in Anderson, South Carolina where she was the pianist. She had many hobbies including genealogy, traveling, knitting, crocheting, stamp collecting, and cats of which she had several.
She leaves a sister, Camilla (Mike) Williams, niece, Crystal (Mark) Messmore, and five great nieces, all who live in Colorado.
Lucy Anne will be missed by her family, including six first cousins, especially Betty Smith and George and Shirley Johnson.
